Eating

Breakfast is served in the pretty conservatory overlooking the garden. Our emphasis is on local ingredients, with bacon and sausages from the farm shop in the village and free range eggs from a neighbouring farm. Everything is home-cooked to order and jams and marmalade are home-made. Along with the traditional English breakfast we offer fruit, cereals, pastries and porridge.

Afternoon tea with homemade cake is served in the Sitting Room, or in the garden if the weather allows, with our compliments.

Picnics are available on request at an additional charge.

We do not serve evening meals, but the Devonshire Arms Pub in the village does good traditional food in comfortable and welcoming surroundings. Alternatively the renowned Angel Inn at Hetton offers award winning food and is just 1 mile down the road. We will happily drop you off there if we’re around and lend you a torch for the amble home! Also just 3 miles down the road is the Fountaine Inn a Linton – a lovely pub which serves great food. And finally both Grassington and Skipton (3 and 5 miles away respectively) have a good selection of pubs and restaurants. We are happy to advise and make bookings for you.
